He was born in İSTANBUL on August 29th 1966. He started his music career with the band named KOLON which he founded with one of his best friends LEVENT BÜYÜK during high school years. He was the lead singer of the band.

       In 1985, he entered the Department Music of Atatürk School of Education in Marmara University. While he continued his education there, he started to learn playing bass. He founded a band named LABİRENT with his college mates, YAVUZ ÇETİN and GÜLTEKİN KAÇAR and played in various bars and venues.

      His first professional work was with the band named ERSEN ve DADAŞLAR during the college years. Since then, he worked with numerous professional musicians and bands including YAVUZ ÇETİN, TARKAN, ERKİN KORAY,TANJU OKAN,CEM KARACA, HAYKO, METİN AROLAT, REYHAN KARACA, YEŞİM SALKIM, METİN- EDA ÖZÜLKÜ, SİBEL BİLGİÇ, ZEYNEP, RAFET EL ROMAN, EMEL, ASYA, ERDAL ÇELİK, NALAN, TARIK, ZERRİN ÖZER, IŞIN KARACA, MUSTAFA SANDAL, HANDE YENER, HAKAN PEKER, VOLKAN KONAK, NATALIA, SİBEL ALAŞ, REDD, EMRE ALTUĞ, GÜLŞEN, and EROL EVGİN among many others.

        He also played in various albums and worked as an arranger and song writer. He is currently the member of the band named “ZAN”. The album titled “Toprak” which his band ZAN co-produced with CAHİT BERKAY has been released on March 27th 2007.
